Short class; early release day schedule due to incoming storm.

Reminder, Blizzard Bag no later than FRIDAY.
Introduced "Spirit of Individualism" vocabulary unit.  Quiz Friday!

Assigned Longfellow poetry teams and poems.
Working together,

1. Analyze your poem.  Be sure you understand it completely.
2. Create a glossary of unfamiliar words and share it, using Google Docs, with Ms. Bishop.
3. Practice together to create a single dramatic reading (you may read in unison, alternate stanzas, or assign each team member different parts of the poem, however you like BUT be sure you can read fluently and with dramatic expression!)
4. As an individual, create an illustration of a passage from the poem.

Projects are due on FRIDAY.
